Spartech Manufacturing Overview

Brief History

Spartech was formed in 1971 to fabricate compressor shutdown panels for Spartan Controls' panel group. Over the years, it grew into one of the largest providers of custom pneumatic and electrical assemblies for the oil, gas and petrochemical industry in Canada. More recently, Spartech capabilities were expanded to include the packaging of analytical equipment into remote instrument buildings and sample handling systems.

Fabrication Capabilities

The manufacturing shop consists of approximately 16,000 sq ft fabrication space within the main building plus an additional 15,000 sq ft of secure space that can be utilized for fabrication, staging or testing.

Spartech employs 55 tradespeople of varied backgrounds such as welders, electricians and instrument technicians. These individuals are supervised by five experienced Group Leads, ensuring that high standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. The Spartech fabrication shop also employs a manager, a scheduler and a coordinator to allow for maximum productivity. The process is complete with a Quality Assurance specialist who can provide on-site CSA certification for General Purpose and Hazardous locations and ABSA (ASME B31.3 Instrument Tubing) certification for all pneumatic pressure systems.
